Robert Jones 

President  

Robert Jones is the President at IPA. Mr. Jones is responsible for IPA's principal investment activities in Asia and is engaged in multiple aspects of entertainment, including film and television production and distribution, music publishing, and digital media. Mr. Jones is an expert in film distribution with over 30 years of experience in the Asia Pacific Region. He began his entertainment industry career in slate-financing arrangements for a number of major studios, which eventually lead him to start his own distribution network in Asia. Mr. Jones helped IPA evolve by forming key partnerships over the years with FUNAI, BMG, SEGA, Live Nation, Crédit Lyonnais Bank, Madonna, MGM, and Universal.

James Macatangay

DIRECTOR of Distribution

James Macatangay is the Director of Distribution for IPA. In this position, Mr. Macatangay is responsible for overseeing all aspects of IPA's film slate in addition to managing local releases with our partners in Asia.  Macatangay joins IPA following three years at Hulu where he led film content acquisitions efforts. As the head of the film at Hulu, Macatangay was instrumental in overall growth of the film category as well as identifying opportunities in original programming and independent films.  Prior to Hulu, Macatangay was the Head of acquisitions for DreamWorks Home Entertainment in Asia. He currently resides out of IPA's office in Manila.
